“Eunhyuk, JYJ’s Kim Junsu and I were classmates in primary school. We were in Class 6-6 together.” said actress Choi Yoon Young on Tuesday, May 29th’s episode of SBS Strong Heart.
On the episode, she also revealed a letter that Eunhyuk had wrote to her during their primary school days. Near the end of the letter was a line where 12 year old Eunhyuk wrote, “I’m really happy that you say you like me and Junsu.”
Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk then pulled out pictures of the group S.R.D’s pre-debut pictures, and drew attention to the young Kim Junsu in the photo. Co-MC Boom then asked Eunhyuk, “Wow! Junsu-ssi really!! How was Junsu’s popularity then?” To which Eunhyuk replied, “Junsu was popular with the younger girls, while I was popular with the noonas.”

Q: Out of all the trainees, is there one who became a dragon after debut? (ie became handsome compared to the past)
Leeteuk: Of course. There was one boy, whom I’d heard a lot about even before he’d joined the company. Someone would always tell me about him, saying his face was very handsome, and that he could rap really well. So he brought me to school to see that friend, right? I went down to see him, but it was way below my expectations. That boy is the one standing on my right now.
That boy is Eunhyuk, and that someone.. was Junsu.

When asked about her connections in the entertainment circle, actress Choi Yoon Young who graduated from Anyang High School of Arts answered, “Neunggok Primary School, Class 6-6’s JYJ Xiah Junsu and Super Junior Eunhyuk.” She revealed that since that time, Xiah Junsu already had a deep interest in music, and would hum along to songs even as he was walking along the corridors. On the other hand, Eunhyuk was already a very well-known dancer in the school at that time. “We occasionally talk over the phone, and even until now I still find it fascinating that two huge Hallyu stars graduated from the same class as me.”
